Words are lovely.  But if they don’t match someone’s actions, DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR THEM.  It sometimes sucks to see who people actually are, based on what they DO, and so its tempting to explain away their behavior.  When you do, you become part of their problem.

How many people tell you how much you mean to them then betray you? How many people sware on their sobriety while using drugs at the same time? How many people profess their ethics while cheating you?

People say alot of things.  What they do, however, tells you so much more about who they are, where they are at in their lives and how much they might or might not become close to you in a healthy way. xoxo Dana
