I don’t know about you, but I prefer a life with year-round summertime.  And if we can’t get the Summer 365-days a year, it is good to know we can still have the fresh-faced glow of summer, minus chemicals and toxins, year round.  Chantal Moore brings us a brilliant product line- and her killer celebrity makeup artist insider tips-  to create that glow simply and beautifully every day of the year!

From Chantal: ” If you can believe it- Labor Day weekend is here, NYFW (New York Fashion Week) is next week and this means that Fall is here….right? Actually, the official astronomical start of Fall isn’t until September 22 and I don’t know about you- but I am not ready to give up my Summer glow. With the right products available on the market now, we don’t have to. I went through a definitive “matte” phase recently as a response to my dislike of heavy shimmer use during hot temperatures. For oily skin, shimmer just translates as more oil and too much shimmer on mature skin can add age. There has to be balance. Highlight and luminosity are essential to any red carpet makeup look,  no matter the season.

Glowing, luminous skin will always be in fashion all year long. The key is to find your right balance of luminosity for Fall/Winter looks. Fall inspires more polished makeup looks, but you can transition and carry on your Summer glow minus the heavy shimmery bronze looks. For me, skin should always appear brightened, luminous and clean. A transformative glow is what I am always looking to create.

mineral glowOne of my favorite powder luminizers is W3ll People’s Luminist Mineral Glow. This is a high quality mineral powder and multi use product. For example- on a recent shoot where we were going for a super clean look, I swept Luminist Mineral Glow 55 (a softest pink shade) across the model’s eye lids in lieu of actual shadow. The effect was super-sheer colored highlight that really brightened the eyes and entire eye area. Subtle magic.

I also like to strategically place Luminist Mineral Glow along the bridge of the nose, the inner corners of the eye, the bow of the lip, blended softly along the top of the cheek bone, and on the brow bone just under the arch of the eyebrow which I blend out toward the temples.

W3ll People is one of my favorite, high performance, all natural product lines because they have everything that I need (Nudist Colorbalm Stick 7 – above- is one of my favorite go-to nude lip colors) for eco friendly, clean, toxin free beauty minus those terrible ingredients that I don’t want for myself or my clients. W3ll People’s 100% organic, cruelty free products are free of chemicals, parabens, dyes, fragrance, phthalates, sulphates, and bismuth oxychloride. They are a company with consciousness that cares about the fact that our skin absorbs so much of what we put on it.
