While every week is a week for incredible art, this week I was honored to guest curate a collector for Saatchi Online and I wanted to give you a sneak preview!
For all the times I encourage “getting back to one’s roots” and building a sense of Home and exploring your style and talents, with this project I live that lesson in a profound way. My first memories of New York at 12 or 13 involve begging my mother in Secaucus, NJ, to take me to the Warhol Retrospective at MoMA. I don’t know how I even knew about it, but I had to experience that space. My first job as a teenager was in the entrance hall to the MET in New York. Art is the absolutely most important thing in my life on every level.. and curating this collection from the brilliance of thousands of artists on Saatchi Online was quite the homecoming! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Striking. So balanced and elemental even though it is electric.
Color fields wash over my mind for days!
Absolutely ethereal.
Charming, elegant and so expressive.
I just love living with art. Make more art, find more art, buy more art… you will not regret it! You can view my whole Guest Curator collection and interview HERE at Saatchi Online. xoxo Dana
