6 Artists That Capture Delicate Magnificence

berta fischer

(Berta Fischer)

I could look at Berta Fischer’s organic, melting, morphing colorized sculptures for hours a day and never tire. There is something magnificent about the delicate, the fleeting, the lighter than air and more captivating than a spectacle.  The quiet, the almost impossible, the veiled, the organic and the delicate— it is so moving and so rare.

I remember blowing these pom pom flowers in my Nana’s overrun front lawn and making wishes.  As a sculpture, these weeds are transporting seeds of time.

joe reihsen

When colors come together like they fit in a puzzle, yet they melt so effortlessly, something is very right.  As the light pokes through this Joe Reihsen painting I can feel how right it is.

Lets see: is there anything cooler than a permanent sparkler?

erin o'keefe

Planes of color create a whole space that is soft and wide and filled with anticipation, as through the sun is rising to start a new day in a dream world.

Tokujin Yoshioka

Crystal fantasy land, that is where I wish to settle!   When webs are woven and forms are created by the attraction of molecules in crystal geometry, I can’t help but think that our bodies are held together in precisely the same way.

Live with more art and let is show you a new way to think about life!  xoxo Dana
