On my wish list: a wall full of Carly Waito paintings.  I’ve included one painting in a “6 Artists” post, but they are too good to not get their own spotlight.  These candy-like, gleaming paintings more precise, more alive and more inspired an image of gemstones than any photograph I have ever seen, deserve an entire blog for themselves!  I want to stare at these all day, and feels their airless weight and shimmer through my home, my office, my whole life.  But first, I’ll share a handful of my favorites!
