Gold has an inherent richness, light and wonder. In my mind, I imagine this is how it came to be the metal that backed our financial system (I don’t think it does any more!), making dollars inherently more valuable when they were first created because they were the paper representation of gold. I prefer gold, personally, to paper!
I’ve talked about golden tips to add richness to your home, more abundance and prosperity (you can read more HERE), so today I wanted to share some simple golden goodies- like a gold trimmed headboard, baubles, light fixtures- that can inspire you to stir more of the golden into your space.
A gilt bar cart is a sensational bit of shine, making what you wheel around feel even more precious.
These golden acorns are a great reminder that metal is also a product of nature, at its core, as well as a great table decoration, even just strewn about freely!
Lovely Indeed has a simple & chic DIY for some gold-dipped utensils to elevate your wooden spoons in seconds!
This charming image from This Is Glamorous’s Instagram is a perfect demonstration of how a small bit of dazzling gold can turn the ordinary into richness!
While you may be challenged to add pendant lights in your home office, a golden desk lamp will do the similar shimmering trick.
A small bit of gold can yield a high wattage result. If you are feeling dull in your space, a touch of the golden in your home or office may be all you need! xoxo Dana
