Walter Mason was a fantastic find for the day of nature art and the absolute perfection of our planet.  While his photography is quite simple, it has an unbearably profound dazzle to it, straight from the core of the Earth. Today, I am sharing this photography as both visual and motivational inspiration to live closer to the heartbeat and simplicity of the land!

Tribal, illuminated… as though a dragon can leap from the sea invoked by these crystalline ice pillars!

tree in snow

The definition of “layers” of a tree stump, revealing the many years it was alive and how it grew in progressive, geometric stages.  Wow.

The white of frosty snow is like paint!

spiral

I’m forever a fan of the unfurling spiral, especially in the midst of running water.

How shocking, precise and perfect are these woven blades of grass?

Nature. Don’t lose touch with its secrets.

This is gorgeous. I love patterns in nature and the math in them.
