turmeric tea

Turmeric Tea. Here’s a little bonus brain food/ anti-inflammatory /strong-immune-system tonic for any time.

Why turmeric? HERE is a list of incredible health benefits of turmeric from Dr. Andrew Weil.

In a pot, heat up two cups of coconut milk (fresh is best!), 1/2 tespoon each of organic powdered turmeric & cinnamon and 2 tsp or so of honey to taste.  Whisk it until its as hot as cocoa, and you are all set!

Quick & I find it quite addictive!  xoxo Dana

Doesn’t heating it up destroy some of the health benefits of the turmeric? Wouldn’t it be better to heat up the coconut milk & honey and then whisk in the turmeric just prior to drinking?

The big deal is that there is some fat, as it helps with the turmeric absorption. So, prehaps use it and add coconut oil?
