Check me out- overwhelmed by nature and exercising in a much bigger way that I have in quite a while. It’s time to part-time trade-in my vintage heels for classic sneakers and get the exercise & fitness chi moving through my life!
This week I am both doing lots of research (*getting a new dentist & a more holistic teeth routine!) and doing a little liver supporting cleanse (*no starvation involved) and getting lots of rest. Of course, I can not go without a great bubble bath and some other artsy stuff in the mix! Here are the 5 lifestyle goodies I am loving this week- *the health-centric edition!
Living Libations is such a hotly-touted brand in the world of wellness where skincare, beauty and even natural dentistry is concerned. I haven’t tried the “gum drops” above yet.. but its my first stop after the dentist. It meets my every requirement after extensive holistic dentist googling and talking to actual experts! THIS article from Living Libations on things you should know about dentistry has radically opened my eyes as to the potential we have to radically avoid the dentist- or make the best of our trips!
I am going to do my own version of the Dr. Oz liver cleanse (*grain-free version) and, in the process, grabbing a water filter for my drinking water so that I can halt my habit of drinking water from plastic bottles.
Absolutely obsessed: this body wash from Shea Moisture has me taking extra baths! It smells so divine – very light Frankincense & Myrrh essential oils create a layer of depth- and it is free of phthalates, parabens, sulfates and just about anything bad you can think of! One cap full creates my new favorite slightly foamy, super-moisturizing bath!
I learned this week from that I need to be exercising in a very much more advanced way. In fact, I may just get a gym membership and a trainer. Yep, all the way to strong this new year! Snagging a pair of my old-favorites: classic New Balance sneakers– to hit the hiking trails with renewed vigor. While if I trained like a maniac I might need something more fancy, I have the best luck with classic sneakers and these are my favorite!!!
And, if you are anything like me, you are feeling the need to organize more in this year of go-go-go! I blew off getting a planner to start the year as January was already proof that everything would just happen at once 🙂 That said, now I am picking up a Moleskine Color-A-Month planner. (so cute, right?!) I can usually go all-in for a yearly Moleskine planner, but this year I am going to be correct about my planning! How is this related to a healthier life? Well, disorganization causes tremendous stress. So, I feel this qualifies today!
Do you have lifestyle and design goodies you are loving? Art or fashion goodies? Natural beauty stuff or great cooking swag? I am always up to try things you recommend! xoxo Dana
