Allergies, sleeplessness, too much salt, too much caffiene, stress, dry air, airplanes… and suddenly your bright eyes look swollen and not vivacious.
One of the quickest ways I have found to take down the puffy-eye problem: cold water. Lots of it. A bowl of ice water. That helped my puffy eyes a lot on bad allergy days.
The problem is that it also dried out my skin at the same time. So my eyes were less puffy but looked dehydrated.
Not a good trade-off.
Thank goodness celebrity makeup artist and balanced beauty expert Chantal Moore has a refreshing cure for puffy eyes that nourishes and moisturizes your eye area as it de-puffs! Brilliant stuff!
From Chantal: ” With increased temperatures and high winds here in Los Angeles, I have been seeing a lot of irritated eyes and under-eye inflammation (or as some would say “designer luggage”) on many of my clients.
Thankfully, gel pads for the delicate eye area have changed the beauty game. Now, within 15-20 minutes you can do a treatment that remedies such under-eye troubles. My go-to favorite gel pads for eyes right now are Ice Water EYES by ToGoSpa. With Marine Collagen, Co-Q10, Hyaluronic Acid, amino acids, enzymes and Vitamins A & C as their core ingredients, these pads increase circulation, reduce dark circles, soothe, hydrate, brighten and de-puff the under-eye area.
Pro Tip: at home I keep these in the refrigerator, and when I am working on a set I place the pads in a bowl of ice prior to application.
ToGoSpa Ice Water EYES contain no parabens, no dyes and no harsh chemicals. I absolutely love these. They have become essential in my makeup kit. Learn more here.”
