Yes!
I think the idea of success gets complicated when its mixed with things like your personal identity… reconciling emotional issues through success… feeling loveable due to success…
While success does definitely amplify all good things in life, your job is not who you are.
In fact, it was advice from a guy I met at a part (with no formal education who is now a huge venture capitalist because he loves it) that was the best success advice ever.
Know. Love. Believe. Stay simple. Enjoy. & Keep Going! xoxo Dana
Fixing stuff that is not working is something I’ve recently started to make a habit of. There are loads of things around the house that need to be fixed, and sometimes just the thought of fixing those things can be draining. However, once I started tacking those things, I realized it’s unbelievably energizing to complete those things. I’ve even started to deliberately search for things to fix every single day. One of the best things I did recently was raise the shelving and the bars in my closet. It took only took about half an hour, and now I no longer have to see my long hanging clothes drag on the floor. I allowed that silly little thing to annoy me for WAY too long and there was no need for it. I feel great when I open my closet now.
I just love hearing this!!! What a major shift! You’ve inspired me to keep going on my fixing up right now! Excited for you! xoxo
