I had this conversation recently with someone. Its a Biuddhist principle, and I think it can easily, universally apply to life. When you slander someone or hold a grudge toward them, you do a great deal of harm to your own karma while you boost up the good fortune of the person your are hating.
Hate is not helpful.
Hate keeps you low.
Hate needs an outlet to unwind itself safely.
If you are stuck in hate, get help. Set yourself free. You do nothing with hate but hurt yourself. Compassion can be a tough pill to swallow, but it equals prosperity! xoxo Dana
