Declutter Your Life For The Best Fresh Start Ever!!!

Dec 5, 2014 | Prosperity

This is the greatest truism I’ve tested in my life:   Your clutter is your greatest opportunity to grow.

Clutter can also be your demise.

I prefer to focus on the opportunity!

I’ve had to clear a lot of my own clutter- things I didn’t even realize were an issue- in order to create a Camp for all of you, a community where we declutter not just your home, but also your life in ways that make real space and opportunity.  I wanted everyone to have a hands-on, directly with me, experience of expansive design, feng shui, and loads of calm, focused, visionary space.

Today, I wanted to start with a more personal take on how clutter- from bad ideas and toxic friends to bad closets and a digital jumble- can affect life.  You will see how clutter is actually not overwhelm… it is potential energy that’s been blocked.

Now… we will set all that STUCK potential FREE!

If you are having money problems (or money stress for reasons you may not understand) chances are you have clutter.

I had a client with so much clutter that we couldn’t really navigate some areas of his house.  Once we dug through the mess and made sense of things, in a sequence, he became a powerful creative businessman.

I’ve seen people with clutter who worry endlessly about money even though they have a lot of it… only to learn how much they’ve been wasting by letting their clutter move out of control.

One woman cleared clutter of emotional weight out of her house and found both a new love and a huge job promotion.

That’s just a few of hundreds of clutter examples.

In my own home, somewhat shockingly, I found over a garbage can full of paper clutter in my files.  I learned I was being overcharged by almost $1200. a year by a bank, and I found money that almost went to the “unclaimed money” files because I didn’t have a correct address on a form.  That’s just from one half hour of clearing out my files.

While there are thousands of ways to add feng shui to a home to create prosperity, the foundation of it all is clutter clearing.

If you think that clutter is just annoying, draining, ugly and de-motivating, well… there’s more!  I’ve found that clutter is the thing that we sometimes create as self-sabotage.

That’s what I did.

Ten years ago I could barely figure out what to do in a day, nevermind how to make dreams come true.

Self-sabotage— fear, unworthiness, toxic ideas adopted from other people like parents and old teachers, etc— loads up life with so much confusion that manifests in clutter.

Clearing away the mess of confusion brings clarity.

A friend had so many fearful ideas about her career path that she didn’t do anything. Paralyzed by the options and the “stops” she created in her mind, she filled up her life with obstacle after obstacle of clutter.  The moment she decided she’d do anything to have clarity, and took big steps to clear clutter emotionally, physically and in her home, she made a decision. Now, she hasn’t stopped working in her new business since that day. Unusually huge  inflows of success can come from clarity!

Trust that if you can get out of your own way – moving aside all the junk- you will find your way.  You will!!!

This is a big personal issue for me: clutter and wellness.

Of course, the stories here are personal, and since I’m not a doctor or a scientist we can’t prove anything, but I have seen this long enough to know it’s definitively true for me:

Your home is a mirror of your life in dramatic ways.

Including your wellness.

Closets cleared can equal extra pounds shed.

Cleaned up relationships can create sound sleep.

De-cluttered papers can put allergies at bay.

This is just a bit of the transformation that clutter clearing, alone, can accomplish

And that’s why… just a bit of why… your clutter can be your biggest opportunity to grow!

Dana, I just discovered your website a few days ago and I almost want to cry when reading your practical, real, sincere, so helpful inf0rmation. I was a professional musician/singer/writer for years and have been blocked since 1989. I have not had any desire for music, writing or creating in years. I found your information about blocks, clutter, etc. and it all makes so much simple, logical since to me. I am still going through your website and reading your articles and they are so mind opening, inspiring and hopeful for me. I have owned four homes in my life and they have all been very organized except for the one I have lived in since 2007. I just cannot seem to get this house completed or de-cluttered. The more I try the worse it gets and this is really only in two rooms. I have thought there must be some kind of clutter, chaos “demon” in this house because only one family lived in this home since it was built in 1954. After I purchased the home and moved in to remodel it, I noticed it was really dirty, but this was disguised when I bought it. Anyway, I have been trying to de-clutter a room I want to use as an updated music recording studio and I am struggling. I have just completed a recording technology course where I learned the updated professional digital music recording software and I want my music studio and home to reflect me and be free from clutter and very organized. I am going to read all your info and get your 101 book. Thank you so much for being real and so helpful. You have given me hope in the midst of my blocked music, creativity, heart, mind, “job” I dislike and feel trapped in and life. I also have the book The Artist Way and will get this back out to read again. I hope to report back to you soon on my progress. Thank you, Jan
