Using 2015’s Marsala In Magnetic Ways!

Jan 5, 2015 | Sensory Goodness

Marsala is the 2015 color pick of the year for Pantone, a theme-settting color that washes everything in earthy, wine-saturated firey color.  A lot of purples, reds and browns combine to create a color so inimitable… so intriguing… and such a unique new classic.

How I love this kitchen! The earthy tones in this paint make it kitchen-friendly, where a bright red would not be kitchen friendly!

Want to try marsala walls? These paint colors are a great place to start!

I grew up with a marsala-toned giant antique carpet in my living room in New Jersey, so rugs with these tones always intrigue me.

Here’s a lighter, more “cherry” tone of marsala, I thunk the color that I will reupholster my sofa when I move again this year!

These curtains set the room alive.  While curtains are not a typical place to play with bold color at home when you are getting started, they are a perfect way to add lush doses of color without a long-term commitment!

Marsala is hardly for the color timid… but it is majorly memorable. Will you be giving it a try somewhere this year!
