We are all creating our reality every day and every moment.
The wild thing is, it’s not just what we’re actually doing or actually creating that matters. It’s also how we’re percieving what’s around us that shapes our todays and tomorrows.
We can see and expect the good and great and see the best around us or we can see what’s wrong and let ourselves percieve more and more of these problems.
There’s tremendous science that explains how changing our peception of reality alters our experience of life. We really do choose to see and choose to experience things, and with some high energy shifts, all of life can transform dramatically!
The observer effect is what creates reality. Reality is what we perceive.
The observer effect is the proven notion that sub-atomic particles can change through the act of observation. HERE at Vaneso Design they’ve done some historical reasearch on perception:
In the early 1900s physicists were trying to determine if light was a particle or a wave when experiments were set up to prove that light behaved like a particle, it behaved like a particle. When experiments were set up to prove that light behaved like a wave, it behaved like a wave.
The observer effect shows that perception creates our reality. The reality doesnt exist, unless you first perceive it. If you don’t see the wave, in essence, it doesn’t exist in your life.
Perception is what we pick up through all of our senses.
In feng shui, that senory information is CHI. Chi – or life force energy- is what we see, feel, taste, touch and sense overall in life.
Confirmation Bias is also a real thing.
Where you choose to focus your attention has an absolute effect on how you perceive people, your job, your friends and your life in general. We all strive to seek out information that is in line with our existing belief system. This is a place of comfort for human beings and we strive to know and predict what the outcomes of situations will be.
As a result, we attend to information that is in alignment with our current belief system, and disregard information, to the point of deeming it inaccurate and wrong, in order to feel comfortable maintaining our own beliefs.
If you want to truly transform your universe, start percieving the good in things around you and you’ll find more good will come. Stay neutral and see the full picture of the people around you so you can discern what is in your best interest and what is causing you harm. As you expand your awareness, let life unfold in new ways.
Your mood has an effect upon what you perceive.
Yes, your mood affects your reality!
A study at the University of Notre Dame, The Effect of Mood on the Perception of Neutral Stimuli study proved how mood affects perception. Subjects were divided into three groups and shown a movie that was either negative, positive or neutral. They were then asked to rate several photos that were neutral in nature to see if their experience watching the movie have an influence on how they rated the pictures.
After watching the positive emotion video, participants rated the neutral pictures significantly higher than those that watched either the neutral video or the negative emotion video. Those that watched the negative emotion video rated the neutral pictures significantly lower than those that watched either the neutral video or the positive video.
There are very simple ways to boost your mood and create a shift in your perception:
Smiling actually makes you happier.

You can eat to elevate your mood.
- Avocados – Raw Food Kitchen explains the benefots of avocados. They naturally balances our hormones and aid in digestion. Avocados contain tryptophan as well as vitamin B and folic acid. The vitamins allow the body to transform the tryptophan into serotonin, which is mood enhancing.
- Grapes- Grapes are rich in flavanoids that boost moods.
- Raw nuts- Research published in the Journal of Proteome Research state that, Just one ounce of mixed nuts (raw unpeeled walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts) was linked to higher levels of serotonin in the bodies of people with metabolic syndrome.
- Salmon- Salmon contains a large amount of selenium, and when people lack this nutrient it can cause anxiety. Salmon contains Omega 3 oils that are also mood lifting.
- Strawberries- that can be happiness-inducing.
Exercise is a huge boost to your whole system.
According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, Scientists have found that regular participation in aerobic exercise has been shown to decrease overall levels of tension, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep, and improve self-esteem. Even five minutes of aerobic exercise can stimulate anti-anxiety effects.
Aim for at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day, even super-brisk walking, to get life flowing.
