I love having my room in blue tones…but it’s in the relationship corner of my house. I want good relationship vibes, but pinks/reds don’t look right with the lighting/feel of that room, is having it in blue tones a killer?
I’m not opposed to pink accessories. I actually love pink. Just not bedding or paint!

Nope, nothing is a killer! Check my turquoise post, light blues can be calming and very appropriate especially if you need water energy in your life. I tailor my feng shui to my clients specifically, so if you read my tips you are reading “the overall big picture” but its different for everyone, depending on what you need. Pibk accessories are great… but also chevrons and ikat patterns can add fire and that “fire energy” and check my animal skin post, another way to add fire without reds/pinks! Hi Pam! Without seeing the home or knowing you, in general I’d say make sure the basement is in great repair and that the lights are bright and that you perhaps even freshly paint it if it’s been a while! As for your sons room, keep it in order. I wouldn’t emphasize or overemphasize the importance of the bagua because it’s just one tool of many, so I would say don’t sweat this too much but keep the energy flowing in your whole place! 🙂 Xx Dana
