step-by-step and soon you'll have glamourous rooms that pop like this one designed by Kelly Wearstler!
A reader asked the question: “Regarding Feng Shui, how do you suggest I get started? I work a lot of hours and don’t have the time to do a complete overhaul at once.”
My answer:
Luckily, I don’t think anyone should completely overhaul their house at once. A few changes at a time, as in one or two, are best to get to know and understand for yourself the way energy flows in your life and in correlation to your environments.
Three projects that require very little feng shui knowledge are de-cluttering, making repairs and bring nature indoors.

Kelly Wearstler's vibe trays are a fun way to pull together inspiration. Only this type of "useful stuff" should be collected i nyour home... not drawers of junk 🙂
Decluttering- dumping what you don’t need, want, or find to be loaded with bad memories- is a fundamental first step that does not require professional consulting services to master! That said, do it maybe 10 minutes a day to start (you can fit that into your busy schedule) until you feel at peace and with great clarity on your home.
Next, repairs. I, myself, and waiting for the painter to come to repair stress-fractures in my wall causing paint to crack like a spiderweb in my dining room. I mention that to say: most of us have one thing or another that needs maintenance or repair. And its not just in your home. Your car, your shoes, your clothes… all of it counts!
And finally, nature . I’ve raved about the importance of houseplants, and they are awesome… but just about any form of nature will make a huge imprint on your life when bright into your space!
There you go… are three big ways to get started with feng shui. You will definitely notice a huge difference…!
