This is not a post about just faux leopard skin rugs sold at your local car wash, though I have seen some good ones there! All of these “hides” or “furs” are fakes and all are unique, sensuous and texturally as well as visually delicious. Today, think of throwing down a faux skin to amp up a dull room. Imagine each room with out them… blah, right?! Faux hide: Its a great style tip that gives lots of stylish bang and feng shui sexiness for your buck!
Just a hint of wildness added by this hide to infuse a pastel candy colored room with some yang (male) energy.
Totally unexpected: a faux skin outside. I’d roll this up in the rain and snow, but what a statement!
This just really words. The beige could even migrate into a breakfast room.
Let us not forget smooth faux hide’s fluffy cousin, the faux sheepskin! I am such a fan!
Today’s overall style vibe: add a “faux hide” to a room (even a nursery!) that is failing to gel, that feels unfocused or needs texture. The result is a more grounded, comfy and sometimes very sexy room!

Hello there
l’ve been searching for a faux animal hide, and these ones are just beautiful, particularly the first one. Can you tell me where there might be a store in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia that sells them.
Or recommend a reputable online seller please.
thanks…Patricia…
I would check out Tabletonic in australia… she gets the best of home goodies!!!
Hi Dana
Haven’t seen any faux fur rugs as convincing as these! Desperately need to find a stockist online or in Norfolk, UK.
Thanks, Natalie
