Confetti System is an artist/stylist/jewelry design/art directing duo- Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho- that has had me entranced for quite some time. The idea of taking paper, rope and other common materials and re-contextualizing them to be luscious design items filled with texture, richness and color rocks my world. Creating objects like the common pinata to look like dangling gems, again, genius! Paper flowers that soar off of walls= incredible! I will be Confetti Sytem-ing my new office, and I had to share the shining love today! For feng shui this adds play, whimsy, focus, magic and motion= creative juju that never stops giving!

Imagine these flowers leaping off your walls. What an installation in a dining room!
Confetti System installations, party decor and creations are now legendary in many circles, even highlighted in a MoMA PS1 exhibition that just closed. They are no secret, but I love them just as much if not more for their transcendence into museum space!

Want to make a vision board look like a work of art? Fill an empty space with artful excitement? Make a dork corner sing with life? This garland is outstanding!
(loving the richness of a confetti system installation)
Confetti System pinatas are dreamy, especially in a space that is neutral, a bit too austere and serious. They are still elegant, but have an interactive edge of play and dash of whimsy that is engaging.
Simple design concepts brilliantly layered and executed can really raise the roof of wow-factor in a big way.To learn more about the minds behind Confetti System, check out their interview in Dwell. Genius!!! xoxo Dana
