Chevron is a fiery, energetic way to add life to a room without necessarily adding color, yet with color its mega-super-charged indeed! For small spaces, bland spaces chevron is a breath of fresh air. In large open spaces, chevron tends to define areas without partitions and adds a visually transfixing charm. Here’s a round-up of chevrons that really get me excited!
Chevron is a fabulous way to remake a piece of old furniture. Some tape creates the lines, some paint fills in the design. Delightful!

Looooooong hallways and stairways get a boost from chevron runners. That said, understand that when you energize a hallway in this way it should be done with care… you don’t want people fixed on how to exit a gathering room, or rushing down hallways or up steps!
It might be periwinkle and white, but its a pretty dynamic design nevertheless to add chevron rugs to clean, open spaces.
I am a very big fan of the chevron pillow. Indoors, outdoors: a burst of charm. I just don’t like this for animal beds- fur babies need to rest and these patterns are not restful. Otherwise, load up the patterns!
