I’ve been having spirited conversations lately about planning vs. just living life.

Out of all of these conversations have come a few ideas that ring true to me: there aren’t direct paths to glory careers anymore as there were a few decades ago, there are zillions of options available now to see, do & experience.

It seems a mix of knowing what you’d like to create and having plans to execute the bits and pieces works well, but carefully planning every moment of the next ten years is probably useless.  That’s what my friends and I came up with, over hours of asking questions.
