The Science Of Falling In Love

I used to get deeply frustrated by people who took something as magical as love and reduced it to a series of chemicals and neurological reactions. Now, after having loved people so un-magical that it’s hard to fathom (!) I find this science to be wildly enlightening.  There definitely is a chemical component to love, and this chart breaks it down in a fascinating way.

Does this help you to find “the one”? Nope.  But it explains more of the layered, nuanced and deeply fascinating ways we bond together as beings… and it also sheds some light on how, despite your Law of Attraction lists and seminars and teaching you managed to fall in love with someone (or someones) totally unexpectedly.

What do you think? Do you buy the science behind love or do you think its mainly energy or spirit that brings people together?
