The sea is very much alive. And when captured in the high-speed photographs of Ger Kelliher, the sea is priceless artistic moments, a dance of energy and explosions, softness and solidity… This is the kind of art that I feel compelled to live within…

From underwater. Looking up.  The birds eye view of a fish, a crab or, perhaps, a drop of water.

Boiling amber, it feels warm just looking at it.

Totally surreal and alive. This sea can swallow you as quickly as it can inspire you.

The aura of the ocean is golden.

Re-imagining the sea as swirling concrete or paint…There are so many universes around us, so many ways to see and experience the simplest things.

This photography is so revealing. I think I’ll have to visit the beach this week and see what I see in the shore.
