While I’m not sure who can go any kind of work on a barstool, I love the expanse of warm wood here so much, coupled with the Nature screensavers. Not only does this space look cool… even in a photograph it feels like you can dream up something cool there, too!
Today is a round-up of creative woodsy spaces that are, for the most part, simple. You can come up with your own great ideas from this inspiration!
What about a morror that is not a typical shape?! This giant wood-framed mirror epitomizes innovation.
Super-shelving steals the show. Thus reminds me of a short-saled condo that I likely should have tried harder to buy in Los Feliz. The whole dining room wall was about 11 feet high of unfinished wood built-in shelves that resembled a puzzle. Ah that place… the balcony also was the size of a living room.
Hindsight is always 20-20!
A tub carbed from a fallen tree is almost too spectacular for words. Here, though, the easy to bowwow idea is black and wood: its a stunning & harmonious pairing.
This reminds me that I work on my dining room table! And in the next place I live, that table is going to strictly be a desk complete with an ergonomic chair and task lighting right above it.
Don’t you just love the crocheted covers on the stools? And the amazing shelving that is so light and yet so strong?!
Wood brings creativity to any space. Use it in big- albeit simple- ways to make your home more of an incubator for brilliance! xoxo Dana
