Where Art Collides With Bohemian At Home!

boho chic

(vogue)

My friend is going to start setting up what he calls “a commune” in the most ttrue sense of the word, but also the chic-est sense.  He’s got style. The whole family has style. Big style.

While I’m so psyched to be a part of the collab with my feng shui’d design ways, I couldn’t make it out to the house today due to what I call: “mysteriously missing voice” .  While I stayed home to help repair my swollen jaw, missing voice and overall need for rest, luck sent me a whole bunch of intensely brilliant chic commune inspiration via Tumblr.  I Am Collecting Home Inspiration’s Tumblr to be exact.

Get ready to feel more peace, love and easy freedom…all in design.

gold vintage mirror bathroom

A golden vintage mirror perfects a simple bathroom.

art on floor

Layer art on the floor.  Leave walls slightly distressed. Floors concrete. Add wood. Perfect.

disco ball living room

Wood painted on the ends, disco ball front and center, mantle of simple candles.  I can’t say yes enough to this space.

tapestry art

Tapestry art. Reuphostered vintage furniture in contrasty, big colors.

batik fabric

And what can I say, I see batik!  Tie dye.  But with a mesured hand and awesome texture.

So much synergy and natural cool to look forward to…!  PS: follow I Am Collecting Home Inspiration on Tumblr.  So inspired!!!

xoxo Dana
