Kaya Chandler’s chart of detox salads rang so true to me I had to share it! It’s actually my guide to the grocery store for the next few weeks.
Somehow, something has switched inside of me and all I crave are fruits, salads and some cooked veggies and tons and tons of olives and dressings. I’m running with it! It’s feeling great!
My favorite additions: the herbs and… a superfood salad dressing!
Here’s my personal favorite:
- 1 tsp dried turmeric or about 1/2 inch peeled raw turmeric
- about a tablespoon of both apple cider vinegar & honey
- some raw garlic to taste (start with a clove, and build it up as needed)
- salt and pepper; you can also add dried ginger, veggie seasoning blends, etc.
*blend it all up with enough sunflower oil (about a cup) to make it taste balanced (taste as you go) and store in the refigerator. I go through one big batch every two days or less (!) because I’m a dressing lover!
