Pink Salt Sole Can Revolutionize Your Morning Routine!

Dec 8, 2016 | Food-Shui

Pink Salt Sole (pronounced So-Lay) is what I’m drinking this morning… and I have no plans to stop! It’s amazing for energy (as energizing for me as a giant tea), it’s beautifying, it’s body detoxing, it’s simple and oh how fantastic it’s been for my dehydration.

Let’s get into the pink salt sole morning revolution today!

Himalayan Pink Salt, when responsibly mined and unprocessed, contains more than 84 active minerals according to The Real Co. that sent me a box full of it to experiment with.  Thank you The Real Co.— I am obsessed!!! I was fascinated by their salt because it’s all from a single mine (like single-origin coffee!) and their ethos is very pure.

What do I do with so much salt? I started with a bath in a cup of this pink-flecked bliss, then I moved on to a homemade, dentist-approved salt rinse with essential oils (coming soon!)  I put out a cup in my bedroom to clear any stuck energy (here you can learn all about my clearing rituals with salt) and then… I mixed up a jar of… sole.

Sole was first brought to my attention about 7 years ago when I started using salt for so many things around the house and to do with my energy.  It was a giant water pitcher the size of a fish tank that I saw in a very underground wellness spot in Los Angeles, with rocks of pink Himalayan Salt on the bottom like gravel and a swirling salty solution floating above it.

I was told that sole was a vital part of a wellness routine. The people telling me this were a bit extreme so I tried a spoonful in my water and felt great that day… but it seemed like something extra that I didn’t need.  It took me a few years to come around to sole again.

Now, I will not stop!

It’s such a simple thing to make.

  • Fill a mason jar 1/3 of the way with Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Add filtered water to the top.
  • Stir.
  • Cover with plastic or wood or anything not metal (I use cheesecloth)
  • Let it sit for a day and the salt will dissolve until the solution is saturated.
  • The salt on the bottom is proof that the solution is 100% ready to use.

To use it, pour about a teaspoon full (do not use metal as it will de-ionize the salt!) into your morning water, morning hot water and lemon (it will be salty!) or sometimes I swill it straight though it’s not recommended!

Sole Benefits are thought to include:

  • Re-mineralizing the body (and this has been amazing for my skin and my whole body!)
  • Balancing Electrolytes
  • Helps with cellular hydration
  • Revitalizing subtle energy systems
  • It’s thought to be an anti-histamine
  • And it does wake me up!

Of course, I’m not a doctor so I deeply suggest consulting your doctor before trying anything new to drink or eat that’s out of the ordinary, especially if you have a medical condition.

Something as easy as sole can be great glory for your morning and a way to create more balance with great simplicity. It’s the kind of fresh start feng shui that can add a whole lot of fresh energy, powered by Nature!
