Have You Been Finding It Difficult To Stay Positive & Happy?

Happiness and light are the most fun feelings in the world!!!

If finding the high vibes are a struggle for you, you’re not alone. Sometimes we don’t realize just how much we’ve been stressed until we relax. And stress isn’t just the negative stuff that creates the stress- too much of anything without rest is a recipe for hormone imbalances, adrenal burnout and all sort of creative blocks.

All that said, sometimes it’s just uniquely difficult to stay happier and lighter. Sometimes there’s hidden stress. Sometimes there’s a mysterious nagging uncertainty. Sometimes there’s that “I’m out of my comfort zone” panic. Sometimes… it’s all of the above.

If you’ve been finding it hard to stay lighter and happier lately, today, let’s do some feng shui to clear out whatever’s been in the way so that the joy in life becomes the easy part.

Successful actions first.  

What is what makes you brightest? Do that first every day!!!

When my most life-lightening actions don’t come first in a day, it’s a bit of a vibrational uphill battle. That’s a dramatic way to say it, but sometimes it feels like that. My own morning spiritual practice keeps my whole life calibrated and if I wait too long into the day to get it done, I am wobbling. This is a big deal, and has been key for me to make big changes.

I just moved in 15 days from start to finish to a new home and my successful actions were thrown into a pile of (very organized!) boxes and immense amounts of stuff to do for the move that had nothing to do with my passions. The difference in my energy in 15 days of having my best practices thrown upside down was intense. I am so happy to be back to more ease every day!!!

If you think about it, in the morning you are re-set, your mind is open and you’re receptive. It’s the best time to load up on nutrients of every form, including lots of love!!!

Hidden stresses can go.

Wherever you feel wobbly for no apparent reason, chances are there’s some sort of hidden stressor in the mix. I remember for no good reason feeling incredibly avoidant of a super-exciting breakthrough creative project. A friend asked me why it was such a big deal, I had done so many others before… and I had a hard time answering until I realized… I needed a solid, concrete plan. I had so many pieces moving in my mind, and none were mapped out on paper. A hour of planning followed my may more hours of planning and doing… and everything became exciting again!!!

Could there be hidden stress in a space or some area of your life that just needs a little more attention? A relationship that needs a little extra care, a plan that’s needed, a new policy for dealing with toxic people you can’t avoid at the moment… or anything else. The joy of stress is that once you start doing something positive about it, it fades away. First, though, it helps to identify it, so be easy with yourself and scan any stressful parts of life to see if there are less obvious but profound forms of stress lingering.

And, blocks to love can go!

When I talk about blocks to love, I am not just talking about things standing in the way of meeting a soulmate or having a deeper romance. All of that is included, and amazing, but what I mean by “blocks to love” is the visible or invisible but profoundly emotional stuckness, feelings of unworthiness or invisible walls we’ve built up to fully expressing ourselves in the world.

These blocks start to melt when you are brave enough to confront your demons. With all the assistance you need.

These blocks to love stay far from your life when you learn to keep them out of your energy field and far out of your home, and you’ll actually soon stop thinking of them as you get into the clearing.

When dealing with love, rather than thinking about space clearing (you know, the sage burning and the like) I often think of it as space restoring. Restoring your integrity. Restoring your energy field. Restoring your sense of peace. Restoring your wonder, creative energy and magic.

You can grab a sage wand and start flooding your space with positive vibes.

You can clean your house.

You can change the sheets on your bed and wash your curtains.

And, you’ve started. Lighter. Brighter. Stronger.

There are lots of things to do in life that are obstacles. Love shouldn’t be one of them.
