When this level of life — this set point— has been exhausted, it’s time to raise the bar.

Every once in a while we need a breakthrough to crack through to the next level of something. A raise at work, a new level of creativity, deeper healing, more resounding love— it’s all catapulted by a decision to go further, reach higher or dare more magnificently.

Your environment is a reflection of all of your readiness to fly higher, to receive more, to experience life more deeply. It’s not about a picture-perfect home, per say … it’s about an energetically-resonant home that allows you a platform to spring higher.

Today’s Feng Shui is all about setting up a home to support your breakthroughs!

More. More. More of anything is basically a call for more energy, radiance and harmony.

In the Feng Shui Camps, many new members arrive frustrated by years of taking steps forward and then finding that their cash gets wiped out in some way, or they’ve lost momentum, burning out to keep up with the pace.

I get it. I’ve been in that draining space and it’s easy to decide that there’s no use in trying.

But, there is!!!

Let’s look at ways to set up a home- energetically- for big life breakthroughs.

Call your power back to you. 

Wherever you’re scattered, stuck, lost in a loop of wishing or worrying or fear is where the energy is leaking out of your home.

Theres a big difference between life obstacles and energetic drains in my experience— life obstacles are a part of growing // energetic drains are stunting to growth.

If you’re having a hard time breaking through to the next level, see if you’re being drained.

Clarity beats fancy decor (though there’s nothing wrong with both!) . 

The foundation of creating a home that supports your readiness for more is clear space.

While I know that many of you have seen that Feng Shui seems to require all sorts of talisman, trinkets and strings and crystals, that’s not real or true. Your clarity is real and true.

Also, it’s tempting to fill every inch of your home with decor but that’s not needed. Your home needs only what you love that makes you feel at home— the rest of the stuff is just taking up space, filling your mind and, it’s all utterly unnecessary.

Take the pressure off of “perfect decor” and settle into spaciousness with intention.  

Everything in your home is energetic. From your blankets to your toothpaste, it’s all energy. The more these choices are curated— even down to the thoughtful selection of toothpaste!!!— the more powerfully connected you are to your home and life.

Claim your space as your own. 

Do you know how many people live in a place for a year, 10 years or even more and never feel at home?

Claiming your space as your own, even if it’s temporary, will help you to gather up that powerful energy that comes from feeling AT HOME.

Let joy overflow.

Plants overflowing. Colors overflowing. Fountains vibrantly flowing. I don’t care where or how you let your space stay filled with the extra energy you need to move forward— but do let yourself get there!

Right now, I’m about to refresh a plant that needs to be more joyous. I feel it’s so vital, it’s a priority. It’s a priority like my two hour prayer sessions in the morning have become. I have a sort of thermostat that tells me, “ooooh. this needs to be handled/filled/lightened/brightened” when my space gets out of alignment. I do this Feng Shui all day every day, so I have an innate sixth sense that’s well-practiced in a Feng Shui way, but I had this long before I knew about Feng Shui. So do you!!! You may not know precisely what your space needs 100%, but I bet your intuition can guide you to a great first step to layer on the joy, and then to the next step!

Keep it moving. 

Stagnation does not create breakthroughs.

Motion creates breakthrough.

Open windows, get a fan, create a yoga space, keep reshuffling things you see— and keep your perspective fresh. This is a huge part of staying in the energetic current of life and amplifying that energy!

Energy, of course, is everything. MONEY, LOVE, HEALTH, ART, NATURE: all waiting to get taken with you to an even higher level.
